'Violence' against woman as a human rights problem

In this study, It has been examined what exactly is the term ''human rights'' which has been talking over a lot, why ''human'' life is valuable, what is ''violence'' which causes violating of human's honour and value and why it is counted as violation of right and If the violence will be accepted as human rights problem only towards women or humans. In the first chapter of the study includes accounts of man of some philosophers within the context of the relationship between ''violence'' and ''human rights'' by trying to clarify the anthropological basis of human rights concept. On the other hand, it also includes some theories of human rights and how the philosophers conceptualize human rights. Thus, It will be shown how the concept of 'human being' is associated with the ''human rights'' and especially with the notion of ''violence'' . In the second chapter of this study, it is tried to be explained what the ''violence'' concept means and it's been discussed if the vilonce is a problem towards only women or ''humans''. It's been emphasized that violence is a human rights violation to all the kinds of humans without basing any sex discrimination. Views and thoughts about being a ''woman'' is rather different than being a ''human'' have been discussed by referring to some feminist theories. In this context, It is tried to be shown how feminist theories see woman, ''species'' discrimination is only about ''gender'' and sense of gender causes mistakes frequently and even violence towards women.As a result, in this study, it's tried to be shown that human rights concept is about all humans without making any sex discrimination, and the right to life as a fundamental human rights is not based on gender, and it is everyone's task and responsibility to protect every single person's honor or value and it's tried to be shown that humans will only live humanely and violence will only be prevented with the pure and full awareness of being a human, by valuing someone for only being human and being aware of ''ethical act'' is every single person's task.
