Abstract (EN)

With becoming widespread of the right to vote around the world, voting behaviour has improved accordingly and voters during determining their political tendency have been affected by various factors. The question of what factors have influence in the tendency of electrote's voting is crucial today as it was in the past and reflects on studies. The topic of what factor is the most effective in the voting tendency has been generally discussed in the studies. Factors affecting voting tendency vary according to settlements in Türkiye as in the world. Especially the factors such as family, religion, economic policy, age, sex, level of education, relationships, immigrant culture have an impact on voting tendency. Despite being a settlement containing both rural and urban characteristic; Mursallı Neighborhood differs from the other settlements with the same characteristics due to not only being an exchanged settlement but also having clear differences in voting tendencyin general and local elections compared to other settlements. In Türkiye a lot of studies have been carried out in voting tendency but the elections of an exchanged settlement which was ruled by municipality in the past have not been studied in such detail. The importance of this study and its difference from other studies emerge at this point. Over the debates of this notional and academic study, the data which is obtained from literatüre review and authorized institutions/organizations has been utilized. Besides, in Mursallı Neighborhood consisting mostly of Albanian and "Patriyot" immigrants, a quantativere search were held by using depth interview tecnique. It has been studied on voting tendency of an exchanged settlement, Mursallı Neighborhood which was ruled by municipality in the past.
