Quality function deployment application in an insurance company

In today?s conditions as a result of increasing competition conditions and globalization business administrations are also required to be in a continuous development. Business administrations depend on customer-demands to stand against competition conditions and achieve their objectives. To meet customer demands correctly on time is fulfilled effectively with the help of `Quality Function Deployment?. Quality Function Deployment is a system which determine customer demands and design products according to them. The objective of this study is to introduce its application in the service business with Quality Function Deployment. Insurance sector has been chosen in line with this objective among service businesses. The insurance company which the application is practiced in adopt a principle to meet customer demands and continuous development and in this sector it is a company having an important place. In this study a questionnaire has been applied to the customers benefiting from insurance services, it has been investigated what kind of customers? expectations from the companies and a quality house of the insurance company is developed. As a conclusion, the most important property that needs to be in an insurance company for customers has emerged as price.
