Abstract (EN)
As the vehicle of the religious literature, the Arabic script, during the first years of Islam, had not any artistic features. The Arabic script is unique among the scripts of the Ancient Near East. When it started to be used for religious texts, it became more important script. After that Arabic script made in its structure radical changes. The transformation of the Arabic letters into legal forms is very important phase for understanding religious texts. After accepting Turks the religion of Islam, they scattered it among nations that they established. All in all, this progress played a crucial and vital role in the aesthetic and formal growth of the Arabic script. Our project is aimed at discovering the place of the first generation of the Living Turkish Calligraphers on this stage, in terms of their form, content, composition, classification, and historical value. In addition, the influence of Turkish calligraphers on the development of the Arabic script continues. Because of this reason, a research on the living Turkish calligraphers is important.
