Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to find out and discuss the impact of the transition to the BISTECH technology on collateral of equity and debt securities market instruments. To that end, the functioning of settlement systems are explained, collateral mechanisms established are examined, issues such as the usage of these mechanisms, the adequacy of collateral that is an important risk management instrument and a potential need for an additional collateral mechanism are investigated. To that end, such key words as settlement, settlement systems, collateral, collateralization structures and adequacy of collaterals are determined.
