Abstract (EN)

All businesses operating in the industry have to protect human and environmental health within the framework of sustainable development policy. This obligation requires the execution of the occupational health and safety management system and the environmental management system together, as well as many legal procedures. In this thesis, risk factors in plants producing energy from biogas were evaluated separately in terms of occupational health and safety and environmental health and safety. In the evaluation, a new risk analysis technique; Integrated Risk Analysis was created, which will allow these two systems to be managed together, by using environmental measurements that provide data for risk analysis. In integrated risk analysis; the dimensions of the risks were investigated by adding environmental impact risk factors to the existing risk analyzes, which are generally thought to be employee-oriented, with work accidents and occupational diseases. In the data obtained as a result of the research, it has been determined that even if the occupational health and safety risk scores are low, the environmental risk scores may be high. At the same time, it has been observed that the measures taken in the field of occupational health and safety for environmental impact are insufficient. As a result, the use of integrated management in risk assessment analysis, which constitutes the common denominator in terms of legal regulations; for the activities carried out, it will make positive contributions to the entire working life, including primarily human and environmental health and the development projects of enterprises.
