Abstract (EN)

In recent years, due to technological developments, there have been developments in the field of health, and materials that determine and measure are needed to control health conditions. Biosensors developed for this purpose stand out as practical materials that make rapid measurements. Biosensors are used in many situations such as measuring the amount of sugar in the blood, measuring blood pressure, etc. Biosensors prepared for the detection of health conditions must have certain features in order to work effectively and accurately. These are features such as selectivity, sensitivity, low detection limit, stability, biocompatibility, low toxicity, easy calibration, and long service life. Electrodes that are selective and sensitive to analyte substances are used to develop materials with the desired properties. Materials with superior properties, such as multiwalled nanotubes (MWCNTs), are used in the preparation of these electrodes, and these materials are modified with conductive natural polymers to strengthen the properties of the prepared electrode. In this thesis study, electrode materials with biosensor properties were designed for the determination of tryptophan, an amino acid. For this purpose, MWCNT was modified with the natural polymers carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and nanocellulose (NC) synthesized from cellulose during the thesis study, and CMC-MWCNT and NC-MWCNT electrode materials were synthesized. The prepared materials were dropped onto the glassy carbon electrode and measurements were taken with the help of a potentiostat device. The most suitable electrode materials for tryptophan determination are CMC-MWCNT (CMC(1.0 mg)/MWCNT(1.5 mg)/GCE) and NC-MWCNT (NC(1.0 mg)/MWCNT(1.0 mg). /GCE) was determined. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) devices were used for the characterization of the synthesized electrode materials.
