Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the determination of the supersaturation rate and nucleation conditions, which have an important place in the production of boric acid by crystallization, and the change of the width of the metastable region depending on these, and the dependence on various parameters were investigated. For this purpose, the width of the metsatbil region in saturated boric acid solutions at different temperatures; temperature, mixing speed, supersaturation rate and seed crystal amount in the solution, depending on at least 4 different values for each of the parameters. In addition, the changes in the metastable region and induction periods were investigated separately for at least 4 different values by using different amounts of acetone as an antisolvent in saturated boric acid solutions. On the other hand, the effects of the addition of different solvents to the aqueous solutions of boric acid on the metastable zone width and induction period were examined separately.
