Abstract (EN)
Financial performance analysis of companies in the sector is a key tool in monitoring the development of the technology sector, which has an important role in development and international competition. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the financial performance of technology companies registered in Borsa Istanbul for 2019-2020. The financial ratios were calculated by taking the data of 28 technology companies registered in BIST from the BIST database. In order to analyze the financial performance of technology companies with Entropy and Topsis methods, 5 criteria and a total of 15 sub-criteria were determined. Then, financial ratios were arranged in accordance with the methods to be used, weights were determined with Entropy, one of the multi-criteria decision-making methods, and financial performances were ranked with the Topsis method. As a result of the examinations, the company with the highest financial performance among the technology companies; For 2019, PAPİL ranked first, LINK ranked second, and ARDYZ ranked third; For 2020, ESCOM is in the first place, LINK is in the second place and PAPİL is in the third place
