Abstract (EN)

In this study, boron adsorption by graphene oxide in the aqueous media was investigated. Graphene oxide was synthesized by Modified Hummers method. Boron concentration is determined with Azomethine-H method by using UVspectrophotometer. Batch adsorption model were performed. Various adsorption parameters were investigated as pH, contact time, initial boron concentration, adsorbent amount and temperature. Besides that, five isotherms (Langmuir, Freundlich, BET, D-R and Temkin) models were analyzed to understand mechanismxx of batch adsorption. It was also investigated kinetics of adsorption by analyzing Pseudo-first order, Pseudo-second order, Elovich, Interparticle diffusion models. FTIR, SEM and XRD analyses were studied to look into the graphene oxide structure.
