Abstract (EN)

The text analizes 'postmodern' elements in some selected works by the German writer Botho Strauss, a very well known representee of contemporary theatre in Germany. Talking about the philosophical roots of 'post-modemizm' seen by Lyotard and others we try to find some valuable definiton of 'postmodern' literature especially in Germany. The biography of Botho Strauss and the complete list of all his works complete the first part. Afterwards three theatre plays were examinated: "Gross und klein" (Great and little), "Kalldewey - Farce" and "Die Fremdenfiihrerin" (The women tourist guide). Some articles about the last one can give us an idea about the reaction inside literary critics and the auditorium. The conclusion gives also some critical aspects of 'postmodern' theatre.
