Abstract (EN)
In this study, dose distributions of Amersham OncoSeed 6711 125I and TheraSeed 200 103Pd model brachytherapy seed sources were separately calculated for water and several human tissues media by using BrachyDose Monte Carlo Code. Calculations were performed for cubic phantom with 30cmX30cmX30cm dimensions where the seed is positioned at its origin. In the present study, it was provided that small deviations of Z values cause great changes on photon interactions therefore photoelectric cross section is rated with Z4. As result of this case, it will be seen that there are important differences between real dose value applied to a patient and the dose which is calculated by using TG-43 formalism. Also dose distribution around seeds in body tissue is affected as remarkable by mobility of internal seed components due to gravity. In this reasons, dose distribution around a seed must be good determined. In this work dose differences which stem from mobility of radioactive seed components and marker were calculated.
