Abstract (EN)
Brand; is a name, expression, sign, symbol, design, or the combination of all. The brand is defined as the product which has different dimensions than the other products that meet the same needs. The brand is the thought that is desirable and considered outstanding by the people and attributed to products, services, places and experiences. A brand is a name, symbol, shape or combination of all that is created to make the product or service easily recognized by the customer and distinguishes it from its competitors. Brand equity refers to the assets, liabilities, name and symbol belonging to a brand that is added to or removed from the value that a product or service provides to a firm and its customers. Assets and liabilities that underlie brand equity must be associated with the name or symbol of the brand. Along with developing technology, social media has become the essential communication tool today. Therefore, as in all areas of life, the importance of social media has come to the forefront within the scope of brand equity.
