Abstract (EN)

Powder metallurgy and particulate material processes allow the production of clear-shaped parts as in casting. However, the powder techniques can be applied to almost any material, unlike the casting applied to metals that only melt at low temperature. Therefore, most of the products produced by powder metallurgy; Composites, high temperature ceramics, some polymers, copper steels, refractory metals, intermetallics, cermets and mixed phase compositions with a wide distribution cannot be produced by casting. Hot pressing method is one of powder metallurgy methods; It can eliminate porosity defects such as shrinkage cavities, micropores, hot tears. Hot pressing is a method developed to reduce casting defects such as porosity, shrinkage and increase the density of ceramic materials. In this study, by adding Cobalt and Nickel elements in certain ratios (3%, 5% and 8%) to the Bronze (Cu + Sn) alloy, new sample groups were produced by Powder Metallurgy (PM) method. Microstructures, average hardness, densities and adhesive wear behavior of the samples were investigated. It was observed that the Ni and Co elements added to the bronze alloy improved their mechanical properties by increasing their hardness and wear resistance.
