Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, it is aimed to improve superconductivity and electrical performance by investigating the effects of nickel oxide (NiO) additives on the basic properties of Bi-based superconducting ceramics. In line with this target, NiO additions between 0.0-1.2 molar ratios were made on the NiO metallic component Bi-2223 ceramics with the solid-state reaction method. The study was concluded by systematically interpreting the effects on the structural, mechanical, electrical, magnetic and superconducting properties of NiO-doped Bi-2223 ceramic samples. Superconducting samples were analyzed by performing X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electrical resistivity (R-T), magnetization (M-H) and dynamic Vickers microhardness measurements.
