Abstract (EN)

In our master thesis called Verbs in Gagauz Turkish Based on 'Bucaktan Sesler', we transkripted it from crilic in to Latain alphabet and them translated into Turkish. Afterwards , the work was investigated in terms of verbs. Gagauz Turkish belongs to the South-Western (Oghuz) group of the Turkish languages. Gagauz, Azerbaijan and Turkish, constitute the western subgroupe of this group, whereas Turkmen constitutes the eastern subgroupe of this group. This work called 'Voices from Bucak', which has never been examined before, was transcribed the first time and translated into Turkey Turkish, and the verbs subject in Gagauz Turkish was examined through the work. In our study, verb suffixes, simple and compound conjugation of verbs, personal suffixes and verbals, which are uninflected verb forms, are included. Derivational suffixes are units used to derive new words by attaching to noun or verb roots or stems. The enrichment and development of a language is directly proportional to the ability of that language to derive new words related to the objects and concepts within itself. In Gagauz Turkish, which is an agglutinative language like other Turkish dialects, conjugation of words and derivation of new words are possible with the support of some suffixes. As in Türkiye Turkish, there are two types of roots and stems in Gagauz Turkish: verbs and nouns. The derivational suffixes are: noun derivational suffixes from noun, verb derivational suffixes from noun; Four types are used: verb-derived suffixes and verb-derived noun suffixes. In this study, verb-derived suffixes and noun-derivative suffixes that form verbs in Gagauz Turkish were examined through the work titled 'Bucaktan Sesler'. In an inflected verb, the order is seen as verb root or stem + mood suffix + personal suffixes. Personal suffixes are suffixes that come to the end of inflected verbs and indicate person and number of the subject ın this part of our study, personal suffixes in Gagauz Turkish are discussed. In an inflected verb, suffixes ındicating times and modi, are added after the verbal root and stems. Thematic suffixes are reviewed in two sections: indicating times and moods and projective moods. Gramatical tenses in Gagauz Turkish were examined in four sections: present contiouns tense, present tense, future tense and past tense (definite past tense, inferencial past tense). The modes of the verb are divided into four and discussed as necessity, condition, command and request. Key Words: Verbs, Verb Conjugations, Gagauz Turkish, Bucaktan Sesler.
