Buddhacarita (input-text-translation-index-facsimile)

Buddhacarita is a Sanskrit-written depiction by the Indian poet Ashvaghosha who describes Buddha's life. This epic was later translated into Chinese and Tibetan languages as well as the Old Uighur dialect. There are two copies of Buddhacarita in the Old Uighur dialect. One of these copies is the two leaflets published by Radloff in the USP, and the other is the block prints preserved at the Berlin Academy of Sciences. This work it has been working on is about 19 block prints being preserved at the Berlin Academy of Sciences. The thesis consists of six parts. In the introduction part, the works on writers, copies of works and works are introduced. İn the text part, the old uyghur dialect was translated and it was transferred to turkish dialect. Then the turkish translation was added into the text with the originals of sanskrit and chinese.. In the index part, the sorsa which are placed in the text are arranged according to their alphabetical order and the lines where the words take place are demonstrated.
