Abstract (EN)
Day by day, air pollution which is sourced from motor vehicles becomes a more crucial problem. There have been studies reach to desired standards exhaust emissions values of emitted from vehicles. When the engine is at warm-up period, exhaust emissions are higher than the emission values which are released during normal operating conditions. Enrichment of the intake air with oxygen is one of the studies to improve combustion efficiency and engine performance, to reduce exhaust emissions. By this means, the fuel react with sufficient oxygen. In this experimental study, while the LPG fueled engine on warm-up period, the effects of oxygen enriched intake air to performance and exhaust emissions were investigated.
