Abstract (EN)

After the World War II, with relatively high consumption rate of the energy and other resources with respect to rate of increase of population of the world, the reality of unsustainability of the conditions caused by the negative results of the way followed, have been detected by humanbeing before a half century overpassed. As a result, the urgent activities seeking resolution and their applications, with the efforts first to use energy more efficient, has brought to the sceen a fastdeveloping process. This leads to incease the share of renewable energies, among which the solar which has appeared last; but it seems to develop more rapidly from widening photovoltaic panel fields to rooftops of buildings. In the world, buildings which consume with a general avarage of more than one third of the generated energy are subject to develop rapidly the legal regulations in national or global level with goals and strategic roadmaps to generate their energy for electricity, heating, cooling and DHW (Domestic Hot Water). Those are updated continously since the the change is too fast. As the subject of this thesis; an individual, one flat house which already had an architectural project, planned to be located in Kestel District of Bursa Province has been analyzed for its all energy needs; heating, cooling, electricity, by using the software program called HAP 4.4, both technically and economically. The program which utilizes Transfer Function Method (TFM) based on hourly analysis, having provided through METRONOM the meteorological data for Bursa area, and the structural data input of the building, exacuted thermal calculations, energy simulation and cost analysis. Calculations of solar collector for domestic hot water was carried out seperately, by using f-chart method. The shared results of the PV system calculations by the system supplier, has been verified through the use of European Union origined PVGIS online calculator, with a well-enough degree of closeness, including details for angle optimizations. The income of the investiment and its payback period has been analyzed by utilizing P1, P2 method. The total annual energy needs of the "Zero Energy Building (ZEB)" house with a family of 3 occupants are approximately, 4.300 kWh for electricity, 6.300 kWh for heating, 2.200 kWh for cooling. For these; heating load is 4,6 kW, cooling load 10 kW, electricity load is 3.5 kW as calculated and compared with the chosen systems. As an alternative to the classic system with combi heater, panel radiator and split A/C; the ground source heat pump with anti-freeze/water fluid and vertically bored pipes, has heating capacity of 6,2 kW, cooling capacity of 4,9 kW, and heating / cooling performance coefficients (COP) of 4,5/3,5 combining with floor heating system, fan-coils and a split A/C for peak days, form a system package. With results of satisfying SEB definition, as an alternative system using renewable energy sources versus classic system that uses fossil energy sources; feasability has been verifed technically; but it should be worked on economically, to improve payback period of 16 years for investiment.
