Soil - water pollution and solution proposals in Bursa

In this research that carried in the coverage of Bursa province, the physical and chemical properties of the soil and water resources of Bursa Province, the pollution and the factors causing the pollution, and the measures to be taken in order to reduce the negative effects of this pollution were tried to be determined . For this purpose, soil and water resources and pollution of Bursa Province, previous studies, environmental status reports and activity reports of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality were examined. Waste water caused by industrial facilities in Bursa, domestic waste water, drainage waters formed as a result of agricultural activities are effective in the pollution of the city's water resources; It has been determined that waste discharges of industrial facilities, mining wastes, unplanned urbanization, wildly stored domestic solid and hazardous wastes, excessive use of agricultural pesticides and fertilizers, wastes originating from livestock are effective in the pollution of the city's soil. As a result, the priority problems that cause the pollution of soil and water resources in the province of Bursa have been revealed, suggestions for reducing the negative effects of the problems and the measures to be taken are discussed.
