Abstract (EN)

Decision making is a long and complicated process. In this process, it is aimed to evaluate existing alternatives according to the criteria to choose the best alternative. In this study, the decision-making process takes place for students who will receive the scholarship as a decision-making problem. In the practice, the process of evaluating the financial situation of the students and delivering the scholarship to the most suitable students is carefully handled, but the evaluation process is limited to the experience of the commission members. This may lead to subjective evaluations and incorrect choices. In this study, Promethee and Grey Relational Analysis Method were used in the Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods in selecting scholarship by evaluating the scholarships giving process with an objective approach. Eight different criteria that are considered important in the selection process are weighted by the Entropy Method. As a result of the research, Promethee and Grey Relational Analysis Methods were determined to be suitable for scholarship selection problem. The resulting student rankings can also help decision-makers provide individual control while guiding commission members.
