The string quartets composed by contemporary Turkish composers

This study focuses on creating a detailed refferance source for the string quartets composed by contemporary Turkish composers. The information included in the study are the first performances, available recordings, length of the pieces as well as the structure of each movement and evaluation of string techniques used in the compositions. To give a visiual idea about each movement, the first line of the score from each piece was included. Only the biographical information of the composers and the name of the movements were included for the pieces that the scores were absent.
