Abstract (EN)

In this research, it is aimed to observe the definition of work life conflict, self-efficacy and parental self-efficacy of working mothers and the relationship between those concepts. The aim of determination of this relationship is to find out the level of work life conflict and self-efficacy of working mothers and to determine the relationship between parent self-efficacy and work life conflict. The target universe of this research done with the survey model and the quantitative method involves working mothers in Bakırköy State School. To this light, the team of working class is choosen from the working mothers (72 people) who work in Bakırköy State School and join in to the research as voluntary. The sample of the research is constituted by the working mothers whoare at the age of between 25-50 and active in the business life. ''Work life balance scale'' used for the first time in the middle of 1977 has been used for the datas of the research. The first reason of the scales's constitution is not to take consider into the demand of the work place while spending the time with the family or which is called also ''free time'' and to integrate those two phenomenons. Moreover, '' Self-Sufficiency Scale'' existed and adapted in the Social Cognition Theory has been used observed for the first time by thepsychologist Albert Bandura in 1977. However, ''The Scale of Parent Self-Sufficency'' which is in the lower dimension of self-suffieciency has been used. Also, ''Personal Information Form'' prepared by the researcher has been used to determine the socio-demographic and relational variable in the research. The one way ''ANOVA'' test has been implemented to determine whether the data sacquired from the scales change according to the demographic features of voluntaires. The Correlation Analysis, the Simple Regression Analysis and the Hierarchical Regression Analysis has been implemented witht heaim of the determination of the relationship between the variables which are scaled. At the end of the analysis acquired, it is understood that parent self-sufficiency and the variables of self-sufficiency regarding business have a reasonableeffect on the work life conflict. Also, with this effect it is seen that parent self-sufficiency variable has more effect on the work life conflict.
