Abstract (EN)

During the process of globalization rapidly increasing technology has led to intense competition between companies. Businesses have started focusing on human productivity to gain a competitive edge. Since people are regarded as a more important source than the financial aspect in our current day, the significance of human resources management has also increased. Organizations that need to change in order to have a voice in the competition, keep up with the times and most importantly to survive, have to have qualified human resources and be able to hang on to the qualified human resources they have. In this context businesses will create a difference with various human resources applications they will conduct in the framework of effective human resources management. The general objective of this study is to present the perspective of wage earners in terms of human resources applications that could be implemented in the framework of effective human resources management. A business operating in the retail sector in the province of Mersin was observed to try and determine effective human resources management applications and the relations between such applications. In this study a survey was given to 128 wage earners in this business and as a result of the frequency analyses the way the wage earners see these applications was explained theoretically.
