Abstract (EN)
The employee's actual employment; However, inability to be present at work, which is defined as not being able to fully devote oneself to work despite seeming to be working, is an important problem for both employees and the organization in working life. The performance and productivity of the employee decreases due to not being present at work, and this affects the overall performance and productivity. Businesses make a number of applications to minimize these performance losses. One of these applications is to turn to business in their flexible designs. You can benefit from the information you get from people who benefit from people who make comments about people who use such apps. During the Covid-19 process, many studies are being carried out to match this way of working, which is widely used in the public sector. Due to the absence of work in obtaining these effects, this education has benefited from applications for the perceptions of public education practices. In the study, in which the quantitative research method was used, 385 people working in a public institution were included in the sample with convenience sampling. Primary data was collected with the questionnaire technique. The questionnaire is a 5-point Likert-type scale. The data were analyzed using the SPSS program. As a result of the research, it was seen that the public employees in the sample had low perceptions of flexible working. Flexible working practices in their institutions are insufficient for them. When we look at the situation presenteeism, it is seen that there is a situation presenteeism in a high level job. As a result of the analysis of whether flexible working practices, which is the main question that the research seeks to answer, affect presenteeism from work, it has been seen that flexible working practices perceived by public employees have a reducing effect on the problem of presenteeism. In addition, the perception of flexible working and presenteeism differs according to demographic characteristics.
