Abstract (EN)

Time management can be considered as the main source of efficiency and productivity, which is vital for today and tomorrow of companies. Because, time cannot be purchased, sold, rented, stored or reproduced. This is just a source which should be used or spent concurrently. In today's conditions, using time effectively and efficiently is critically important. Providing that other facilitations are the same, it shouldn't be forgotten that the companies, which use time effectively and efficiently, are going to be one step ahead. The aim of this thesis is to determine the effectiveness of using time management and to measure the contribution of business productivity. In this context, a questionnaire (previously advanced by some researchers) has been practiced on employees of Aşkale Çimento A.Ş, which is an active company in Gümüşhane. In the first part of the questionnaire, the demographic characteristics of workers has been identified, and in the second part, it is tried to measure contribution of time to the company by examining how effectively they use time. According to the result of survey, there is a relationship between employee's time management skills and operational efficiency. Time management skills of employees can be changeable for their gender, group of age, educational background, level of income and working time.
