Rate of nurses being educated in the process of nursing training about physical examination methods is %67,4 and rate of those who are in service training is %35,5. When the physical examination frequencies of the participants are examined, it is seen that %7,5 never, %22,6 very rarely, %21,1 rarely, %22,9 often and %25,8 very often. Rate of nurses who do not think there is a positive work environment is %53,4. There is a statically significant correlation between nurses work environment and physical examination skills (r:0,337; p<0,01). Conclusion: The work environment has an impact on nurses' physical examination skills. Nurses are of the opinion that they do not have a positive working environment. Nurses with a negative working environment think that physical examination skills are ineffective in patient care. Nurses have shown that time pressures and divisions are reasons why they are unable to use physical exam skills.Nurses are a group that can be supported in creating a positive working environment and using physical examination methods.
