Abstract (EN)

Ravzatü'ş-Şüheda is the most famous of the works in the type of maktel written by Hüseyin Vâiz-i Kâşifî in 908/1502 by centering the Kerbela event. After the work was written, it attracted attention and it was translated into Turkish in a short time. One of these translations belongs to Câmî-i Mısrî. The work was translated approximately in 1555-1556. The main purpose of this study is to reveal the "critical publication" of the entire work in manuscript form. In addition, information was given about the Kerbela event and the type of maktel. The maktel texts are discussed in Western Turkish. The biographies of Hüseyin Vaiz-i Kâşifî and Câmî-i Mısrî, who is the translator of the text, were created. A summary of Sa'âdet-nâme has been made. When the work was examined in terms of style, it was understood that a more artistic work emerged than the text. When the work was analyzed in terms of translation, it was seen that while Câmî-i Mısrî remained faithful to the source text in terms of form, he made some changes in his translation in terms of content and arrangement. It has been observed that the translator resorts to ways such as summarizing in the text, expanding, extracting, localizing, adding resources. In addition to these, information was given about the works whose name was mentioned in the translation and these were compared with the source text. Keywords: Turkish Literature, translation, Câmî-i Mısrî, Sa'âdet-nâme, Ravzatü'ş-Şüheda, Kerbela event.
