Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was detailed soil survey and mapping of Umurbey-Çanakkale.The study area is about 1700 hectares and fifteenth kilometers away from Çanakkale.Umurbey plain have great potential for agricultural activities. In the study area,according to the results of laboratory analysis of soil samples taken from soilprofiles, taking into consideration of soil taxonomy, these soils were classified toordos, sub ordos, great groups and sub groups. The soils were grouped 17 soil seriesand soil boundaries were shown on the 1: 10 000 and 1: 30 000 scaled maps.
