Abstract (EN)
Varioussupportcreditsimplementedbythegovernment in modern irrigationinvestments, resulted in expansion of thesectorandtheincrease in theinterest of thegrowers on the modern irrigationtechniques, especiallydripirrigationprojectshaveincreasedsubstantially. Inthisstudy, Çankırı provinceanditssurroundingshavebeenexamined in ordertoevaluatethechanges in thepressureirrigationproject, whichwascarriedoutviathesupport of differentinstitutionsandbanksthroughoutthecountryduringandaftertheimplementation. A total of 100 farmers, supported in Çankırı provinceandpressureirrigationsystemswereinstalled, werequestioned. Thequestionnairewasevaluatedbyfrequencyanalysis. Resultsshowedthat 12% of theprojectownerswhousedthepressurizedirrigationsystemhave not beengivenanytrainingandthatthepressureirrigationsystemsareincorrectlyinstalled; 8% of thefarmers can accesstoirrigationwater at theintervals of lessthan 3 days; and 99% of thefarmershaveexperiencedyieldincrease. Approximately 97% of thefarmersweresatisfiedwiththepressurizedirrigationsystemand 81% of thebeneficiaryfarmersfindtheProvincialDirectorate of AgricultureandForesty as theforemostcollaborativeinstitution.
