Avifauna of Çankırı

In this study; It is aimed to determine the bird species of Çankırı province on the border of Anatolia Region and Black Sea Region and to determine their distribution. 1370 species belonging to 182 different species belonging to 50 different families in the field studies carried out in 148 different observation points in 73 different seasons between the years of 2013-2018 in the four different seasons of Çankırı province. recording is provided. Considering the conservation status of 182 different species determined in field studies; According to IUCN criteria, 1 species has VU status, 1 type has EN status, 4 species has NT status, remaining 176 species have LC status; According to the BERN criteria, 126 species are listed in ANNEX-II list, 42 are listed in Annex III list, 14 are in unlisted status; According to the CITES criteria, 25 species are included in the list of ANNEX-II and 157 are listed as unlisted; According to the decisions of the central hunting board (MAK), which have been renewed every year, 27 species are included in the list of ANNEX-I, 19 of them in the list of ANNEX-II and 136 of them as unlisted.
