Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, a fractional-order current mode low-pass and high-pass stepper filter design was made using two second generation current-controlled current carrier (CCCII) elements. Two CCCII, four resistors, one grounded capacitor were used for this design. While the filter structure was created with one CCCII element, it was used to multiply the input current in order to form the step filter circuit with the second CCCII element. For the fractional order of the presented step filter circuit, 𝛼 = 0.7, 0.8 and 0.9. A fractional-order capacitor was used for the designed fractional-order step filter circuit. The fractional capacitor element was obtained using the Foster-I 𝑅C circuit. Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT) were used for the internal structure of the current controlled current carrier (CCCII). The designed step-filter circuits were simulated using the PSpice program and the cut-off frequency was 1kHz. The theoretical results of the designed circuits were verified with the simulation results. From the obtained simulation results, it was seen that the realized filters are suitable for acoustic band applications.
