Abstract (EN)
In this study, that is put forward that designing a steel stadium tribune roof with truss and solid webbed system and comparing related cost. The statical calculation of aforementioned building has been accomplished with design loads taken from Design Loads for Buildings (TS498) and Equivalent seismic load method and mode superposition method taken from Turkish Earthquake Code 2007 (DBYBHY-2007) and the results obtained have been compared. Sap 2000 program has been used in the analyses. As a result of comparison, it is established that choosing load-bearing system in steel constructions affects the cost of structure significantly.
