Abstract (EN)

In sandwich panel structures which is the improvement of quality, strength properties and selecting the parameters that will give input to the design was carried out by using Taguchi experimental design method. Manufacturability limits were taken into account in determining the factors and interactions to be evaluated, and three factors were taken into consideration as a result of this evaluation. Finite element analysis were carried out for nine different models according to Taguchi experimental design, and the analysis results were examined. The analysis outputs were evaluated in the MINITAB program and the effective parameters were determined. It is aimed to make a minimum number of interventions to the design by changing the effective parameters and to prevent time losses. In order to test the accuracy of the finite element method analysis, the results of the reference studies were compared and the compatibility of the physical tests with the analysis results was checked. When the finite element analysis results were evaluated, sheet metal thickness was determined as the most effective design parameter. As a result of the studies, the effectiveness of the determined parameter was confirmed and the effective parameters were shown in the graphics according to the severity of the effect. The results of the simulation were also statistically evaluated using the variance analysis (ANOVA) method
