Abstract (EN)

In our country, which is located on the earthquake zone, the usage areas and frequency of steel structures are increasing and gaining importance. Steel structure; these systems are widely used in the production of factory buildings, sports facilities, warehouses and workshops. Steel structures have superior mechanical properties, static capabilities and ease of application compared to other bearing systems. Welded manufacturing methods are generally preferred in the production of steel structures. Parts assembled using welded manufacturing processes are subjected to heating and cooling cycles during the process. Depending on the intensity of the heat effect, the mechanical properties of the materials and the shape of the steel structure, the expansion of the heated parts is prevented by the surrounding cold zone. These interferences cause successive heating and cooling processes, residual stress in metal materials, permanent deformation and distortion in welding methods. Stresses and distortions that occur during joining will cause the product to go out of dimensional tolerances as well as increase the second order effects in structural elements and decrease in fatigue strength of the elements working under dynamic loads. If the direction and amounts of these negative factors are not determined in advance, correction is needed. These corrections lead to an increase in material consumption, labor costs and time losses. In this study, welded joints of S355J2 + N material as T profiles were made by MAG welding method. In the experimental studies, the velocities and flow values were applied differently. Welded joints of the material with different welding parameters have been made and it is aimed to minimize the angular distortions.
