Abstract (EN)

Structures do not show linear behavior such as an earthquake under effect of strong ground accelerations. As a result of Newton's second law, ground accelerations will force combination joints of beam and column of structural system and these will bring plastic hinges in the cross-section of structural system during the earthquake. In this case, the elastic solution will lose its validity and the elasto - plastic solution will need to be done.In this study, the single degree freedom system for steel structural systems under the effect of certain forces, the linear and nonlinear dynamic analysis were performed, the computer algorithms were developed for calculating linear elastic and nonlinear elasto-plastic response of the structure system. In the first chapter, previous studies, positive and negative aspects of steel material, elasto - plastic behavior under the effect of load were examined. In the second section, the nonlinear responses of structural elements were studied under the influence of certain forces and the dynamic motion equations for the single degree freedom system was achieved. In the third section, discussing second section for solution of dynamic motion equations, acceleration changing linear based on assumption the Newmark method of step-by-step solution methods was examined. The fourth section, the single degree freedom system for structural system cross-section by using different cross-section profiles of steel I, the linear and nonlinear analysis were performed under effect of ground accelerations.
