Abstract (EN)
In this study chemical contents and nutrational values of some macroscobic algae that which is collected from the coast of Çeşme peninsula were determined mounthly in a year. Sampled algae are those followed; Caulerpa racemosa (Forsskål) J. Agardh from Chlorophyceae, Cystoseira barbata (Good et Woodward) C. Agardh, from Phaeophyceae, Jania rubens (L.) Lamouroux, Laurencia obtusa (Hudson) Lamouroux from Rhodophyceae.Total water, dry matter, inorganic matter, organic matter, water soluble carbohydrate, total nitrogen and protein contents of these species were determined mounthly in a year. Total protein contens of these collected algae are also investigated Bradford and Kjeldahl methods. Physico-chemical parameters of the marine water were measured and the photographs of collected species were added to the thesis.
