Abstract (EN)

Some of the important compounds of organic chemistry are halogenated and azido aromatic compounds. But, they cause environmental pollution at significant levels. With ever increasing concern for the protection of the environment, scientists have recently developed special heterogeneous catalysts by developing new methods for the reductive dehalogenation of halogenated compounds and the hydrogenation of azide compounds. In my study, the reductive dehalogenation of halogen compounds with catalytic hydrogenation of various azido groups were performed as complete conversion in the presence of newly designed graphene oxide supported bimetallic Rh-Pt nanoparticles (RhPt@GO NPs) and commercially available aluminum oxyhydroxide supported palladium nanoparticles (Pd/AlO(OH)) with NaBH4 at room temperature, in short reaction time, low volume of solvents. And, the comparison of various substituents for catalytic activity was also performed. The reason for the slection of heterogeneous catalysts (Pd/AlO(OH)) and (RhPt@GO NPs) in this study, can be regarded as the method to be environmentally friendly with more stable, and accessible, economical, recoverable and reusable catalyst and hydrogen source, as well as being more stable in different environmental conditions.
