Abstract (EN)
In this study, the static and dynamic analysis and design of double layered space trusses was aimed. For this aim, an extensive investigation was made about the statical, constructive and theoretical properties of space trusses. The elements of the system were explained with details according to the Technical Code of Space Trusses. Structural analysis and design programs SAP2000 and FRAMECAD were studied for the analysis of space trusses. The analysis and solution of one and double layered space trusses of different geometric properties were performed with SAP2000. The examples of single and double layered space trusses are geometrically huge and modular structures. Suitable solutions were found by using the Technical Code of Space Trusses.
