Abstract (EN)

Device-to-device communication is the communication of users without a base station. This reduces the traffic on the base station. It also has advantages in terms of high data rate, battery consumption, and efficient use of the spectrum. In device-to-device communication, cellular users create interference to the device-to-device communication users. In this study, two systems were examined to prevent interference. Equal power-sharing is used in one of the systems with resource allocation and mode selection. Resource allocation and mode selection are provided by particle swarm optimization algorithm. In the other system, the interference-limited area has been created. In the interference-limited area, a threshold is imposed on the interference between the device-to-device communication user and the cellular user. The cellular user who crosses this interference boundary is outside the interference-limited area. A semi-orthogonal user selection algorithm has been defined to select which cellular user will benefit from the device-to-device communication pair from the cellular users in the interference-limited area. These two systems are examined in terms of path loss exponent, number of cellular users, number of device-to-device communication users. In both systems, the goal is to reduce interference and increase the total user rate.
