Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study to determine the antagonistic activities of some Trichoderma and Bacillus strains in vitro and in vivo against some soil-borne disease pathogens (Fusarium oxysporum, Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.fragariae, Macrophomina phaseolina) in strawberry seedlings. Dual culture test was performed to evaluate the antagonistic activity of Trichoderma and Bacillus species. It was aimed to determine the antagonistic activities against Fusarium spp. and Macrophomina phaseolina and on plant growth parameters the effects of the combination applications of Trichoderma and Bacillus species single and combined in strawberry seedlings in potted trials. In dual culture experiments, Trichoderma and Bacillus isolates showed antagonistic activity against pathogens by inhibiting mycelial growth of Fusarium species and Macrophomina phaseolina at different rates. In pot experiments showed that single or combined use of biocontrol agents decreased the severity of soil borne pathogens, and caused increase of plant growth parameters.
