Abstract (EN)

Many concrete structures including infrastructures and all cementitious materials suffer from serious deteriorations such as cracking due to shrinkage and other factors. As a result, inspection and sustentation techniques for concrete structures have become of more attention. Even so, the implementation of inspection is difficult, especially in large-scale concrete structures. On the other hand, repair may be impossible because of existing conditions, such as untouchable damage locations and considerable large amounts of labor and funds required for repairing. Depending on the circumstances, self-healing in cementitious materials become more of significance. The aim of this study is to investigate the efficiency factor of the various types of pozzolanic binders on the cementitious composite materials' healing characteristic. The investigation of self-healing on mixtures was undertaken with compressive strength, direct tensile, cylinder split-tensile and crack analysis test methods. The effect of water/binder and pozzolan /cement ratio on the self-healing ability were also determined.
