Effects of different product load applications on yield and fruit quality in peaches grown in çivril conditions

This research was carriedout between 2023-2024 in Çivril District of denizli Province to determine the yield and fruit quality characteristics of different product cost applications in Red Haven peach variety grafted on Garnem rootstock. During the growth and development of peach, approximately 40 days after full bloom, plant materials were divided into four applications with different fruit load applications to the trunk cross-section area. As a result of the applications; It was observed that as the fruit load on the tree decreased during fruit growth and develpopment, the size, weight and color quality of the fruit increased, while the water-soluble solids content (WSC), fruit flesh firmness and total acid content partially changed. Compared to the control application where fruits were not thinned, fruit weights increased by approximately % 91 at 3 friut/cm², % 62 at 5 fruits/cm²; while yields per decare decreased by % 37 at 3 fruits/cm² and % 27 at 5 fruits/cm², and increased by % 17 at 7 fruits/cm² respectively. As a resul, it was observed that fruit ripeningprogressed with the decrease in fruit load in BCA different product load applications, and although a decrease in yield was observed, fruit weight, fruit quality and aroma improved greatly by increasing in parallel with the decrease in product load.
