Abstract (EN)
CMS is one of the four major detectors of LHC. In Phase-2, one of the regular upgrades, a new sub-detector called HGCAL (High Granularity Calorimeter) has been planned. A test setup was prepared and HGCAL tested with various particles with different energies. During these tests, the performance of the detector was examined and any errors that might exist or may arise in the future were investigated. In this thesis, the data from the beam tests which were performed in August and October 2018 were used and different installation setups and configurations were investigated for getting the best results. Minimum ionizing particles studies were also performed in the obtained data.
