Abstract (EN)

Used by many civilizations throughout history, jewelry has been an indispensable part of mankind. In the jewelry culture, which has a rich history based on the findings of archaeological excavations, jewelry has been used as a symbol of wealth, power and religion, as well as for aesthetic and decorative purposes in later times. When we look at the history of jewelry, especially the jewelry found in the Neolithic Period, which is considered to be the beginning of modern humanity, was made of elephant tusks, bones, semi-precious and precious stones, ceramics, bronze, silver, gold, fabric, leather, seashells, etc. Ceramic, whose raw material is clay, has started to be preferred as an alternative material in jewelry design today due to its easy shaping due to its plastic properties and its hardness and durability after firing. With the development of technology, machines in every field of production have an important role in jewelry production in terms of cost and time. This thesis aims to produce complex motifs that cannot be shaped by hand with high precision and high precision from ceramic material by taking Turkish culture as an example in the artistic context with CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) technology, which is the technology of the 21st century.
