Abstract (EN)
The creation of a wide range of transport routes on the map is important for achieving the most accurate optimization results. The actual values are reached on the maps by taking into consideration the existing roads, highways and railways routes. Similarly, creating routes of seaways on the map helps to reach the most accurate values. At the same time, it is appropriate to combine transportation modes according to the existing roads on the map. In this way, it is possible to create and integrate all kinds of transportation routes on the map in geographical information system based programs. Thanks to these programs, the shortest path analysis can be made on the many kinds of transportation routes created. In this study, using ArcGIS geographic information system program that Turkey's being created on the map and intermodal transportation routes combined. Then the shortest path analysis is performed using the Network Analyst toolbar of ArcGIS. First of all, the roads with freight transportation are determined. Then these roads are drawn on the map and a network of highways is created for freight transportation. All lines of railways are drawn and a network of railways is formed. On the map, the possible routes are formed as close to the reality as the basis of the freight transportation ports. After drawing the roads of all types, transportation types are combined according to the roads on the map. In this way, a network of freight transport of all modes is established. Using the Network Analyst toolbar, the optimum route and distance value between 18 points is obtained. The distance obtained is compared with the value obtained by linear optimization and particle swarm optimization.
