Investigating the architectural solutions brought by smart home systems used in multi-storey buildings and examinations of its development process in our country

The house is a place where people can meet their basic needs, lives, and enable people to live together. With the advancement of technology, interior fittings used in homes are evolving and houses are equipped with smart house systems. In this study, first of all, the definition of the house was made, the divisions of the house were introduced, and the transition process to the smart houses was explained. In this study, the development of smart houses in Turkey from the beginning to today and which systems the intelligent houses includes are examined. As a result of the study, a summary of the development process of smart houses in Turkey and the intelligent systems used are presented in chronological order are presented. These results analyzed in three steps which multi-storey buildings are completed between 1965-2000, 2000-2010 and completed after 2010. A comperative summary table was prepared for 18 different smart home technologies which the buildings have. This thesis could be used as a source for smart homes in our country which they introduced and listed in chronological order.
