Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the antecedents and outcomes of high school students' multiple screen addictions using partial least squares structural equation modeling and to propose a potential psychoeducation program. Within the scope of the research, 841 students studying in the Selçuklu district of Konya province were reached; however, after data correction procedures, data of 676 students were included in the analysis. ''Personal Information Form'', ''Depression, Anxiety, Stress-21 Scale'', ''Multiple Screen Addiction Scale'', and ''Screen Fatigue'' scales were used as data collection tools. The data collected during the research were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. SmartPLS 3.3.9 program was used for partial least squares-structural equation modeling. First of all, a measurement model is created based on variables including screen addiction, its antecedents and outcomes, and its suitability is tested. The model is found to be valid and reliable. As a result of the path analysis, it is seen that depression and anxiety significantly predict multiple-screen addiction. On the other hand, there was a significant positive relationship between multiscreen addiction and physical and cognitive fatigue, a significant negative relationship between behavioral fatigue, and no relationship between affective fatigue and multiscreen addiction. Depending on these results, an eight-session psycho-education program is prepared.
