Abstract (EN)

This thesis presents using geolocation techniques in military applications, specifically focusing on planning flight maneuvers for aerial platforms to locate ground Radio Frequency (RF) threats accurately. The necessity of observing the threat from wider angles to mitigate geographical positioning errors is emphasized. Through the analysis, the aim is to determine the optimum heading angle value that enhances the precision of the geolocation technique. It has been noted that determining optimal heading angle values enables the establishment of an optimized route, ultimately facilitating more accurate localization of RF signal sources. Moreover, this thesis examines the effects of using multiple platforms on geolocation performance and duration. It has been observed that geolocation duration is reduced and location calculation errors are decreased with geolocation using two platforms without route optimization.
