Abstract (EN)

Functional organic compounds, continue to attract the interests of scientists inacademic areas since they become the subject of many applications in advancedtechnological areas. The popularity of these materials arises from the fact that theirproperties can be adjusted through a rational design. In this study, three novel compounds, 2-(4-(2,5-bis (thiophene-2-yl) thiophene-3-yl) - 6 -(pyridine-2-yl) pyridine-2-yl) pyridine (1a), 2-(4-(2,5-bis (4-hexylthiophene-2-yl)thiophene-3-yl) - 6 - (pyridine-2-yl) pyridine-2-yl) pyridine (1b) and diethyl 1-phenyl-2,5-di(thiophen-2-yl)-1H-pyrrole-3,4-dicarboxylate (2) were designed, synthesized, andcharacterized spectroscopically (UV-Vis, luminescence-fluorescence, FTIR, NMR, massspectroscopy, combustion analysis, cyclic voltammetry). Furthermore, some applicationsof these novel compounds in analytical and/or material science were investigated. Finally, the polymerization of these compounds (1a and 1b) were also studied.
